Mumbai: Axis Mutual Fund cut its stake in electrical appliances manufacturer V-Guard Industries on Thursday, while SBI Mutual Fund lapped up the same.

Pharma company Sequent Scientific continued to see its promoters rejigging their holdings among themselves.

Benchmark equity indices snapped a three-session winning streak and ragged lower on Thursday, in sync with the weak world equities as the sentiment weakened due to the US Federal Reserve’s grim July meeting minutes.

BSE’s Sensex dropped 1 per cent to 38,220 points, while NSE’s Nifty shed 0.8 per cent to close at 11,312 points.

Here’s who bought and sold what in some of the key bulk and block deals of the day:
>> Axis Mutual Fund sold 94,96,719 shares of V-Guard Industries to SBI Mutual Fund at Rs 160.25 per share.

As of end June, Axis Mutual Fund held a 4 per cent stake in the company.

>> Chayadeep Ventures and Agnus Capital again bought shares of Sequent Scientific, while promoters K Ravishankar and Arunkumar Pillai sold the same.

As of end June, Agnus Capital, Chayadeep Ventures, and K R Ravishankar and Arun Kumar Pillai held 2.21 per cent, 4.96 per cent, 11.23 per cent and 9.46 per cent stake in the company.

>> LTS Investment Fund bought 11,00,000 shares of Alankit at Rs 17.63 per share.

>> Clix Capital Services sold 111,65,000 shares of Future Consumer at Rs 11.20 per share.

>> Thakar Ashish Bhupendra bought 1,80,000 shares of GSS Infotech at Rs 26.70 per share.

>> Sanjay R Chowdhari sold 1,60,00 shares of Supreme Engineering at Rs 17.03 per share.

>> Companies such as Zee Entertainment Enterprises, Aarti Drugs, RBL Bank and Equitas Holdings also witnessed bulk deals during the day.
