Mumbai: Among key bulk deals on Friday, Tata Sons increased their holding in Tata Motors’ DVR. Baring India Private Equity Fund, Tano Mauritius India FVCI II and Barclays Merchant Bank Singapore cut their stake in Shilpa Medicare, while Nippon India Mutual Fund lapped up shares of the smallcap company.

In a weak market, Sensex tumbled 634 points to close at 38,357, while peer Nifty dropped 194 points to close at 11,334.

Here’s who bought and sold what in some of the key bulk and block deals of the day:
>> Baring India Private Equity Fund III, Tano Mauritius India FVCI II and Barclays Merchant Bank Singapore sold 60,00,000 shares, 8,50,000 shares and 4,50,000 shares of Shilpa Medicare respectively, while Nippon India Mutual Fund bought 21,25,000 shares of the company.

At the end of June, Baring India Private Equity Fund III, Tano Mauritius India FVCI II and Barclays Merchant Bank Singapore held 7.36 per cent, 7.58 per cent and 1.98 per cent stake respectively in the drug maker.

>> Promoter Tata Sons bought 53,02, 681 of Tata Motors DVR at Rs 56.02 each. It held 5.26 per cent stake at the end of June.

>> Kitara Capital’s arm Kitara Piin 1001 sold 5,94,049 shares of APL Apollo Tubes at Rs 2,375.14 per share, while Rahul Gupta bought 3,00,200 shares of the company at Rs 2,375 per share. Kitara Piin 1001 held 12.06 per cent stake in the company at the end of June.

>> Promoter Texamco Infrastructure and Holdings bought 39,00,000 shares of Texamco Rail & Engineering from another promoter Zuari Investments at Rs 28.90 per share. The two entities held 24.28 per cent and 12.88 per cent stake in the company at the end of June.

>> Perpetuity Health to Wealth Fund sold 1,50,000 shares of Globus Spirits at Rs 204.14 per share.

>> EARC Trust SC 30 sold 9,30,759 shares of PSL at Rs 0.55 each.
