Stock market news: Vodafone Idea shares trade flat in early session

NEW DELHI: Shares of Vodafone Idea Ltd. traded 0.44 per cent up in Friday’s trade at 01:15PM (IST). Around 228290590 shares changed hands on the counter. The stock opened at Rs 11.2 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 11.7 and Rs 11.05, respectively, in the session so far.

The stock quoted a 52-week high of Rs 17.15 and a 52-week low of Rs 2.4.

Faced with regulatory heat on its controversial plan, Vodafone Idea Ltd (VIL) has dropped faster data speed claims, which formed a prominent part of its pay-more-for-priority-treatment offering, and has filed a revised plan with Trai, PTI reported citing a source.


Vodafone Idea Ltd., incorporated in the year 1995, is a Mid Cap company (having a market cap of Rs 32758.34 Crore) operating in Telecommunications sector.

For the quarter ended 30-06-2020, the company has reported a Consolidated sales of Rs 10655.70 Crore, down 9.20 per cent from last quarter Sales of Rs 11735.60 Crore and down 5.41 per cent from last year same quarter Sales of Rs 11264.70 Crore. Company has reported net loss after tax of Rs 25548.90 Crore in latest quarter.

Vodafone Idea Ltd. key Products/Revenue Segments include Telecommunication Services which contributed Rs 36766.80 Crore to Sales Value (99.75 per cent of Total Sales) and Other Operating Revenue which contributed Rs 92.00 Crore to Sales Value (0.24 per cent of Total Sales)for the year ending 31-Mar-2019.
