NEW DELHI: S&P BSE Power index was trading with gains at 02:10PM (IST) on Thursday.

Shares of NHPC (up 10.5 per cent), Tata Power Company (up 8.55 per cent), NTPC (up 6.29 per cent), Torrent Power (up 5.24 per cent) and Power Grid Corporation of India (up 4.03 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Siemens (down 0.93 per cent) and ABB India Ltd (down 0.02 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

The S&P BSE Power index was trading 4.1 per cent up at 1695.15 around 02:10PM.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 104.65 points at 11303.75, while the BSE Sensex was down 413.57 points at 38201.22.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 13 were trading in the green, while 37 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, Zee Ent., Tata Power and BHEL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of ABB Power Products, Torrent Power, Essel Propack, JSPL and Atul Ltd hit their fresh 52 week high in today’s trade, while Panth Infinity Ltd., Svaraj Trading & Agencies Ltd., Darshan Orna Ltd., Unishire Urban Infra Ltd., Leading Leasing Finance and Investment Company Ltd., Modulex Construction Technologies Ltd., N2N Technologies Ltd., Ajwa Fun World & Resorts Ltd., Omansh Enterprises Ltd. and Sylph Technologies Ltd. hit fresh 52 week low in trade.
