NEW DELHI: S&P BSE Power index was trading lower at 02:27PM (IST) on Friday.

Shares of Adani Green (down 5.0 per cent), ABB India Ltd (down 3.21 per cent), Tata Power Company (down 2.55 per cent), Adani Transmissions (down 2.52 per cent) and NTPC (down 2.4 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

While Siemens (up 0.17 per cent) and KEC International (up 0.17 per cent) were among the top gainers.

The S&P BSE Power index was trading 2.16 per cent down at 1703.91 around 02:27PM.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 133.50 points at 11393.95, while the BSE Sensex was down 453.17 points at 38537.77.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 6 were trading in the green, while 44 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Tata Motors, Shilpa Medicare and IDFC First Bank Ltd. were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Granules India, AstraZeneca, Timken India, Amber Enterprises India Ltd. and Adani Gas Ltd. hit their fresh 52 week high in today’s trade, while Panth Infinity Ltd., Innovative Ideals and Services (India) Ltd., Jinaams Dress Ltd., Darshan Orna Ltd., Majestic Research Services & Solutions Ltd., Saffron Industries Ltd., Colorchips New Media Ltd., Leading Leasing Finance and Investment Company Ltd., Helpage Finlease Ltd. and Libord Finance Ltd. hit fresh 52 week low in trade.
