NEW DELHI: Consumer Durables stocks were trading on a negative note at 01:55PM (IST) on Thursday.

Shares of Titan Company Ltd (down 1.89 per cent) and Whirlpool of India (down 0.23 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

While Orient Electric (up 3.51 per cent), VIP Industries (up 2.9 per cent), Voltas (up 1.79 per cent), Blue Star (up 1.08 per cent) and Crompton (up 0.82 per cent) were among the top gainers.

The S&P BSE Consumer Durables index was trading 0.38 per cent down at 22859.81 around 01:55PM.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 105.00 points at 11303.4, while the BSE Sensex was down 415.49 points at 38199.3.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 12 were trading in the green, while 37 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, Zee Ent., Tata Power and BHEL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of ABB Power Products, Essel Propack, Torrent Power, JSPL and Atul Ltd hit their fresh 52 week high in today’s trade, while Panth Infinity Ltd., Svaraj Trading & Agencies Ltd., Darshan Orna Ltd., Unishire Urban Infra Ltd., Leading Leasing Finance and Investment Company Ltd., Modulex Construction Technologies Ltd., N2N Technologies Ltd., Ajwa Fun World & Resorts Ltd., Omansh Enterprises Ltd. and Sylph Technologies Ltd. hit fresh 52 week low in trade.
