NEW DELHI: IT stocks were trading higher at 11:13AM (IST) on Tuesday.

Shares of Larsen & Toubro Infotech (up 2.91 per cent), MPhasis (up 2.36 per cent), Wipro (up 2.25 per cent), Mindtree (up 1.24 per cent) and HCL Technologies (up 0.96 per cent) were among the top gainers.

The Nifty IT index was trading 0.87 per cent up at 18085.0 around 11:13AM.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 29.25 points at 11416.75, while the BSE Sensex was up 99.62 points at 38727.91.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 29 were trading in the green, while 21 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, SBI, Tata Power and IDFC First Bank Ltd. were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Larsen & Toubro Infotech Ltd., Infibeam Avenues Ltd., Max Healthcare Institute Ltd., Hathway Cable and Ruchi Soya Inds hit their fresh 52 week high in today’s trade, while Khandwala Securities Ltd. hit fresh 52 week low in trade.
