NEW DELHI: Nifty Commodities index was trading on a negative note at 03:23PM (IST) on Tuesday.

Shares of The Ramco Cements Ltd (up 1.8 per cent), Atul (up 1.34 per cent), Coromandel International (up 1.21 per cent), Adani Green (up 0.91 per cent) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation (up 0.82 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Aarti Industries (down 2.82 per cent), NHPC (down 2.2 per cent), Dalmia Bharat (down 2.19 per cent), Shree Cement (down 1.96 per cent) and Jindal Steel & Power (down 1.73 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

The Nifty Commodities index was trading 0.54 per cent down at 3256.65 around 03:23PM.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 15.55 points at 11482.0, while the BSE Sensex was up 67.77 points at 38866.85.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 21 were trading in the green, while 29 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, SBI, Tata Motors and ICICI Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Adani Enterpr., Max Financial Services, Affle (India) Ltd., Rallis India and Timken India hit their fresh 52 week high in today’s trade, while Madhya Pradesh Today Media Ltd. and Wealth First Portfolio Managers Ltd. hit fresh 52 week low in trade.
