NEW DELHI: SmallCap stocks were trading lower at 01:26PM (IST) on Monday.

Shares of Jubilant Life Sciences (down 5.67 per cent), Future Lifestyle Fashions Ltd (down 5.0 per cent), Optiemus Infracom (down 5.0 per cent), Som Distilleries & Breweries Ltd (down 4.97 per cent) and Future Supply (down 4.97 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

While Indiamart Intermesh (up 11.83 per cent), Fermenta Biotech (up 9.65 per cent), Wabco India (up 9.41 per cent), Sanghvi Movers (up 9.11 per cent) and Hester Bio (up 7.85 per cent) were among the top gainers.

The S&P BSE SmallCap index was trading 0.21 per cent down at 14572.05 around 01:26PM.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 3.15 points at 11330.7, while the BSE Sensex was down 2.31 points at 38354.87.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 23 were trading in the green, while 27 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors and Tata Motors (DVR) were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Wabco India, Granules India, Dixon Technologies (India) Ltd., AstraZeneca and Tube Investments of India Ltd. hit their fresh 52 week high in today’s trade, while Darjeeling Ropeway Company Ltd., Panth Infinity Ltd., Innovative Ideals and Services (India) Ltd., Jinaams Dress Ltd., Virgo Global Ltd., Emmsons International Ltd., Saffron Industries Ltd., Shri Niwas Leasing and Finance Ltd., Dharani Sugars & Chemicals Ltd. and Aditya Consumer Marketing Ltd. hit fresh 52 week low in trade.
